Wherever in the world, FRC teams have adopted the concept of Gracious Professionalism, and beyond that, they are well aware of the value of every moment shared, good and bad. During the discussions on the awards to be given by the committee, we imagined an award that will emphasize the fact that FRC is a big family. We wanted to commemorate a FIRST and FRC member Kendrick Castillo.

 

 

By the help of  FIRST Advocate Jamee Luce, we reached Team Impulse mentors Jack Graber and Jack Rumple and expressed our desire to commemorate Kendrick with an award. As a result of the evaluations made by the Social Jury of Ankara Off-season’19, Kastamonu Istiklal Robotics was awarded with Kendrick Castillo Friendship Award .
