Before you start building your robot, the most important thing to do is reading the manual, because safety is the key to stay alive. We don't want you to lose your eye, cut your arm or bleed out!
EYE AND FACE PROTECTION
There are several forms of eye/face protection available to provide protection from these hazards, including safety glasses with side shields, goggles, and face shields. Inspect equipment for damage each time it is worn. If you wear prescription glasses, and they are not approved safety glasses, you must wear approved safety goggles over them to achieve adequate protection. Eye and face protection is required when there is a risk of exposure to the following:
